Do you love Gay people?

This is a LOVE issue.

Here are some questions to think about from the video:

* Do you treat gay people with hatred?

* When someone doesn't believe with your Christian world view, do you become unloving?

* When you stand up for what you believe in, do you still love?

* Do you judge and condemn people outside the Church?

* Do you love people who believe differently to what you do?

* Do you love like Jesus?

The Catholic Church holds that, as a state beyond a person's choice, being homosexual is not wrong or sinful in itself.
But just as it is objectively wrong for unmarried heterosexuals to engage in sex, so too are homosexual acts considered to be wrong.

We should still love the sinner....Jesus is in everyone.

There is a world dying out there...
Would you rather be RIGHT or offer them LOVE?

Great post!!

I think some people get so wrapped up in not liking or showing "love" to a person simply because of their lifestyle...but at the same time others think that showing "love" means to accept and learn to condone that which is immoral.

Is was difficult for me to learn how to do one without the other, but now I like to think I understand the difference.

Hate the sin, NOT the sinner.

Raaz,

Hate is an emotional response. If you have so little respect for them, why get emotional? Why would you even allow it affect you emotionally?

Christ didn't. Even in the face of serious sin (and remember, He could read hearts and minds) He never let it get to Him emotionally.

As Molly said, "Hate the sin", if you must get emotional. But why not imitate Christ, and see homosexuality for what it is, objectively, and move on from there?
